Dr Astrid Sulistomo currently works as Director of Primary Care Universitas Indonesia Academic Hospital; Lecturer at Occupational Medicine Study School of Medicine, and chairs Indonesian Occupational Medicine Specialists Association. She has done her MD &PhD from Indonesia and MPH in Occupational Medicine, University of Michigan, USA. She has considerable experience in public health and primary care in Indonesia.

Dr C.T.J. Hulshof has been named Professor by Special Appointment of Occupational Medicine in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Amsterdam (AMC-UvA). The chair was designated on behalf of the Netherlands Society of Occupational Medicine (NVAB). Where teaching is concerned, Hulshof is particularly interested in optimising the relevance of occupational medicine curricula taught at university medical centres, and promoting the significance of employment and employment conditions as key determinants of health. Hulshof has worked part-time at the AMC-UvA Coronel Institute of Occupational Health since 1983, where he was named associate professor in 2005. His teaching and research activities have focused on the prevention of adverse health effects of occupational exposure to vibrations, on evaluation research in the occupational healthcare sector, applications of evidence-based medicine and evidence-based guidelines in occupational health practice, and on improving the knowledge infrastructure in his field. From 1979 until 1999, Hulshof also worked as an occupational physician for the Occupational Health Service ArboUnie (and its predecessors) in Nijmegen and Amsterdam, and from 1999 until 2004 he was a project leader at the Foundation for the Advancement of Occupational Healthcare Quality (Stichting Kwaliteitsbevordering Bedrijfsgezondheidszorg, or SKB). Hulshof holds many national and international board and advisory positions. He is chair of the Scientific Committee on Health Services Research and Evaluation in Occupational Health (part of the International Commission on Occupational Health, or ICOH), a member of the editorial board of the Cochrane Occupational Safety and Health review group and a member of the Guidelines International Network (GIN).

Frank van Dijk is occupational physician, emeritus professor in Occupational Health, Academic Medical Center in Amsterdam, the Netherlands (1987-2013). He is (co) author of about 160 international articles. Since 2014 he is working in the Learning and Developing Occupational Health (LDOH) foundation. He participated recently in projects in Turkey, Croatia and Central-Asia. He lectured in European countries, Latin America and Indonesia. Frank is secretary of the ICOH Scientific Committee on Education and Training in Occupational Health. Recent topics: finding reliable information online, improving education, developing basic occupational health care for workers without support. He is active member of WONCA (family physicians) and member of the Health Council of the Netherlands.

Professor Sim is an occupational physician who is Director of the Centre for Occupational and Environmental Health in the School of Public Health & Preventive Medicine at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. He has considerable experience in undertaking long term studies of chronic conditions, such as cancer, respiratory disease and psychological impacts, in workers in high risk industries. He is President-elect of the Australasian Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, Editor-in-Chief of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and a past Board Member of ICOH. In 2019 Prof Sim was made a Member of the Order of Australia in the Australian Honours list for significant service to occupational and environmental medicine.

Timo Leino, D. Med. Sci., Adj. Professor in Occupational Health Services, has worked since 1991 in the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health, currently as a Chief Medical Officer. His research interests are the quality and effectiveness of occupational health service, good occupational health practice, health promotion, and ICT-based solutions in occupational health practice and education. Besides of scientific publications he is an author or contributor in several text books and guides in his field. He has worked for the ILO, WHO and EU. He is an active member of the International Commission on Occupational Health (ICOH) and has been a member of the Board.
